After an accident patients treated in the scope of the statutory accident insurance benefit additionally from the "Berufsgenossenschaftlichen Stationären Weiterbehandlung (BGSW)" (co-operative vocational, inpatient further treatment), with the aim of being fit to return to work immediately after the stay in hospital is over, and the complex inpatient rehabilitation (KSR), which attempts to shorten the gap between the acute phase and aftercare.
In northern Germany, the clinic is the first professional associations' facility to be licensed to perform the medical and vocational rehabilitation of phase 2b neurological patients. The range includes ascertaining the vocational performance profile, improving capacity and resilience, preparing for resumption of employment or another measure and monitoring the specific vocational reintegration.
